INSTRUCTORS / COACHES
Ø No coaching by paid instructors/ coaches will be allowed on the club premises without the approval of the club manager and the executive committee, and until details and terms have been agreed between the respective parties.
Ø Once approved by the committee, instructors/coaches engage themselves to dispense the totality of their courses for the period pre-determined with the manager. The contract is renewed by tacit reconduction unless prior arrangement has been made with the manager.
Ø It will be under the responsibility of Hua Lien to inform pupils/trainees whenever necessary, for example when an instructor/coach is absent ...
Ø Instructors/coaches will consequently have to inform the administration of Hua Lien (Club manager or secretary) well in advance.
Ø Instructors and coaches should ensure that their membership payments are up-to-date in order for their demands as instructors/coaches to be considered.
Ø Fees for coaching are to be paid to HUA LIEN ONLY. In no case whatsoever coaches are allowed to take any fee directly from pupils/ trainees. Disciplinary actions will be taken against defaulters, both coaches and pupils/trainees.
Ø Instructors/ Coaches will be paid by cheque at the end of each month. Note that out of the fees paid by pupils/ trainees, a nominal fee is being retained by Hua Lien for maintenance costs. The rest is being paid to instructors/ coaches. Consequently the amount paid to Instructors/ Coaches will be function of the number of pupils/ trainees attending their respective discipline.
Ø Scale of fees is as per annex 1 of the rules and regulations of club facilities.
Ø As far as possible Hua Lien encourages Voluntary participation. In this case, the pupils/trainees will be the beneficiary.
